The City of Backus transitioned to gWorks for Utility Billing on April 7th, 2025, unfortunately the new Utility Billing Software is not functioning as hoped, the city will be transitioning to another Utility Billing Software in the near future. This will change the way online payments and account viewing can be done; the City Clerk will get out information on this as soon as we know when payments and viewing will be affected. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. To best serve the residents of Backus we will be switching to this other billing software in the coming months, we are hoping to be fully migrated by June water billing.
