BACKUS LEGION AND AUXILIARY INSTALL OFFICERS
Both the Backus American Legion and Auxiliary have elected their new leadership teams. This year the Legion has a new commander, Bill Taylor, who took over the position from Eugene Gagnon who served nearly seven years in that post. The Auxiliary also had a change, with Mel Taylor, who is the commander’s spouse, assuming the president’s job from Linda Barchus who served two years in the office.

The Backus Legion Sells
American Flags
The standard size is 3' by 5' and that is
available for $15.00.
We also have 4' by 6' for $20.00.
They are available in the club rooms while
the bar is open.
We open at 2:00 PM Monday thru Friday
and at noon on Saturday and Sunday.

The Frankie Lamb returns to the Backus American Legion Sunday, June 20, from 2 to 6 p.m. for the Legion’s monthly dance.
The band plays classic country and pop tunes, old time and swing for your dancing and listening pleasure. Singles, couples, everybody welcome.
